Just to confirm that sundays sash show will be going ahead as planned, the ground has dried out beautifully and its all systems go.
Although pre entries through the website have closed we do take entries on the day, if you want to speed up the process you could download an entry form from our events page and have it filled in for your arrival, if you have the correct money this will also save you time.

IMPORTANT NOTICE !!
Due to the very wet weather we have unfortunately had to postpone Sunday’s sash show until Sunday 20th May to allow the ground to dry out, any pre entries will be carried over to the rescheduled date, if you have pre entered and are unable to make the new date please email for a full refund by 16th May, pre entries for the new date will remain open until next Thursday, we will have a full list of judges once we have contacted all concerned and have conformation of whether they can attend the new date, please keep in touch via our website and facebook profile for the latest news. Although it is difficult when the weather is as wet as it has been recently, but we are starting to get prepared for this coming season of events, we had to unfortunatly cancel the first showjumping that had been planned for yesterday due to the persistant wet weather, but hopefully it will dry up soon and we will have a long warm summer, I have now completed all the sash schedules and the two day time table is finally finished they are all available to download from the events page, the showjumping events will be running as a points series so make sure you get your card when you enter, there are also showjumping qualifiers for Royal london this year, will be keeping in touch regularly now so come back soon

Well I think this time I may have completely lost my marbles
I was asked over the weekend,” why not run a show this coming Sunday, theres nothing on for people to go to and being mid season everyone wants to be out and about while the weather is still nice”
So thouroughly exhausted after returning from a lovely afternoon at Edenwell, I thought why not, we have the showfield, and most things in place and a wonderful team of helpers, so why not .
By 10 o clock Sunday evening I had the schedule written, just ready to print up and 2 judges confirmed oh and also a poor groom informed she had 36 sets of rosettes to make during the week ( Thanks Sophie for been so good ).
So now for a crazy week, we have showjumping on Saturday and now a showing show on Sunday, both schedules are on the events page to download and you can pre enter the showing show from the online entries page.

We are looking forward to our Summer Sash show that will be taking place this coming weekend Sunday 10th July.
Preperations are now well underway with the rings ready and all the rosettes and sashes ready to be boxed up.
We are just confirming our judges today and should have them posted later this evening, we are happy to have qualifiers for Equifest, Royal London, Horse Parade, Ultimate Showcase and Amature showing
Schedules are available from the main website and you are also able to Pre enter from the website too
We hope to see many of you over the weekend and are looking forward to an enjoyable day

Yesterday evening we took Monty (Rivervale Distinction) Swimming for the first time,  I was uncertain as to how it would go and monty proved a little reluctant to go in the first time and took some encouragement, but eventually he braved the unknown and went in, after that he was like a duck to water, so to speak and thouroughly enjoyed it, the swimming pool is based at Hutton Henry, between Hartlepool and  Peterlee just off the A19, the guys are very experienced and confiendent whilst handling your horse and would highly recommend for anyone to give it a go.

Well with one show over preperations start straight away for the next, with showjumping on next Saturday 28th May we have already been busy moving fences and clearing paddocks.

Sunday 15th May – Yesterday was our spring show and what a wonderful day it turned out to be, dispite the drizzle that had set in for the morning, we had a wonderful turnout, with many new faces and new combinations turning out, the standard of entries where particularly high with some very well contended championships later on in the day.
A big thank you goes out to all our Judges, Stewards and Liveries who helped to make the day such a great sucess, our next show is on Sunday 10th July, when we would love you to come and join us, hopefully the weather will be a little kinder
